An introduction to current neuroscience in Amsterdam and Rotterdam is organized to give new PhD candidates an overview of the laboratories performing neuroscience research, their members and the subjects of study.
To familiarize new ONWAR PhDs with the neuroscience centres and institutes that participate in ONWAR and to get to know their peers. This well help PhDs find local collaborators for their projects and stimulates collaborations between research groups.
Participants will visit the different ONWAR centres and institutes. The scientists who perform neuroscience research in Amsterdam and Rotterdam will discuss their work and demonstrate the techniques and facilities they employ.
